The Hispanic Center of Western Michigan is offering a one-day workshop for interpreters or allied health workers who are exposed to second-hand trauma in their work lives, and HCH is taking part! The focus is to make you aware of trauma symptoms in yourself or in another co-worker and know the techniques to self-aid and/or know where to go to for further help.
The training will be conducted in an interactive and in-person conference.
The workshop includes:
- Awareness of Trauma Symptoms
- Techniques to Self-Aid
- Preparation for Trauma Situations
- 3 CEU’s for CCHI
- 8:30-9:00AM Registration & network
- 9:00AM-11:30AM Workshop
- 11:30AM- Break for lunch
- 12:00-1:00PM Workshop
